"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Edmont. The hotel rooms were very clean and surprisingly spacious, providing a highly comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The location is absolutely great, especially if you are a first-time visitor to Japan. It sits in an area where connectivity to both the west and east parts of Tokyo is incredibly convenient, making sightseeing completely stress-free. there are lots of places to eat within a short 5-minute walk from the hotel. On top of that, the hotel’s own restaurant has a great menu with excellent options. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!"

APA Hotel Ueno Ekimae

"The hotel is very close either way to Keisei Ueno line (from Narita airport) and the JR Ueno station (for Yamanote Line). The hotel is also next to the Tokyo Subway. Excellent hot spring bath at the top floor (with bot indoor and outdoor bath). Clean linen and newly furnished bathroom at hotel room. The bed was very clean with good mattress. You have ample space to store suitcase below the bed. Currently Tokyo hotels are more expensive then it was a few years ago (post Covid, and every one visiting Japan). But the price is still acceptable with all the amenities provided (e.g. Schick shaver) and a hot spring bath. There's also a weighing balance at the 1/F for checking the weight of your luggage - very nice and convenient. There's also two convenience stores nearby (family mart, and lawson). Staff are friendly and helpful."

"We travel as a couple, the facilities are conveniently located at the entrance of the Keisei Skyliner exit at Ueno. A short walking distance to the Ueno Train Station (its big), and other atractions. You can easily move around Tokio from there. This is important if you come in a rainy season. My only observations, no self laundry on premises, you need to do a walk of 15 min. And they require to clean your room at least every three days. I requested an specific hour, and they didnt do it. They were confused and when I came back, my room was not cleaned. I needed to work, and had to wait an extra hour for them to clean. Bathroom is small, but good. Every day, they leave outside (when they dont clean, fresh towels, bath robes and coffee/tea. In general, its a good location and facilities. Breakfast has Japanese menu and limited additional, but is was worth it. Would stay again for sure."
