"Really neat property in a unique area surrounded by bush. House is very comfortable and open - older style but very good. Saw a morepork at night and heard kiwi's. Kids really enjoyed exploring around the area. Candy also goes out of her way to make you welcome. A really good place."

"Perfect property for a large family birthday celebration, this is a very well set up home and has the most beautiful views out to the harbour and sand dunes , the weather was perfect and the deck was well used over the entire stay!We had a lovely weekend away together and highly recommend this property for the home and the location. "A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail."

"Tidy and clean but also many spiders webs around the place. The cooking pans were unusable we had to ring for safe ones. The ones there were old teflon: scraped ones known to be toxic once the teflon is harmed. The host brought two stainless steel ones to us. The large knife broke in my hand upon first use which could have been dangerous. I only cooked the one night after this. The main bed is not on a sprung base, so the bed was way too hard for me to sleep on, so spent the week apart from my...

"This listing is more then just a tad misleading... It says pet friendly, but no secure area for the dogs or any shelter. Leaving about 1sqm for the pets inside when it rains. The use of space in a tiny home is probably the worst ive seen. A big bed with ZERO use of wall space for storage. No toilet scrubber for the toilet is one of the finer details they are missing here. They said there was a BBQ and fire available, neither of these were true. We asked for firewood as they said to...
