Closeness to beach and wharf - saw two broadbill weighed in. Loved the beach and large pohutukawa just steps from our patio with seat beneath.
Swimming pool area gorgeous with frangipani and hibiscus - did not swim.
Disappòinted with the quality of some fittings. Front door lock pretty rough and door closing poor fitting. The cabinet housing the refrigerator was pretty badly put together the small fridge was rusting out at bottom of door and the ranchslider to the patio needed new rollers - grated badly on opening or closing. Property contacted us prior to stay enquiring if there was special occasion. I responded that we were celebrating 45th wedding anniversary - no acknowledgement of this - could have just put a couple of flowers in room from the grounds. I advised reception of my disappointment - she apologised and advised they normally did something like a card or similar.
Overall though we loved this property although it was quite expensive for this time of year and the isolated area.
