We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a beautiful established garden outside our rooms. It has a lovely relaxed family friendly vibe. The beach was just across the road and we could see the Hokianga harbour entrance. Thank you

From the time our booking was confirmed, our communication by email, phone or in-person with Tagi, the manager, was courteous prompt and helpful. We were allocated the disability unit which was appropriate and well suited to our needs. As indicated in my ratings, all staff and facilities deserved the highest scores.

We stayed with our UK whanau for 2 nights and as we'd experienced before it was an enjoyable experience. Lovely clean rooms, warm welcome and relaxing spa, what more could you want! Oh, and the beautiful Hokianga Harbour and mighty sand dunes are just across the road, a gruelling 1 minute walk to view - awesome😊 Nearby shops, Hotels, fish n chips very handy and easy walking too. Well be back for sure.

Booked through Expedia and it was very expensive for what it was. The room was very old, wall paper coming off in places, old furniture, bed rolled to the middle, noisy from adjacent unit, bathroom and kitchen very dated. Worth about $90/night not $208au that Expedia charged.

Lovely staff and a friendly cat to wake up to and visit us in the unit. The bathroom is a bit small for a family of 4 very cramped.

If I could give more stars I would! This place was beyond amazing. Right on the water so you have quick access to the beach. The people running the hotel were so lovely and helpful and friendly with many suggestions for things to do. The unit was spotless and had everything you could need (plus a dehumidifier for the muggier days). Comfortable bed. Great wifi. Kitchen has everything. Beautiful outdoor table overlooking the water for morning coffee. Lastly, the flowers and plants around the property are breathtaking. Shower is on the smaller side, but was not a problem for me.

The property was very clean and was well appointed. The heating in both the main room and with an electric blanket was appreciated in cold rainy weather The parking is limited but there are marked spaces for each motel unit though this depends on the courtesy of other users who do not use more than one parking space.
