"Overall, my experience at the hostel was positive. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for good tourist spots and even driving us to a local restaurant that had delicious food. The room was clean and well-prepared, with a comfortable bed that allowed for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom was large, providing ample space to get ready and shower comfortably. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tocen Goshoboh yesterday and would highly recommend it! We arrived around 2:20 PM, which was over 30 minutes before the official check-in time, but the hotel kindly let us check in early. We booked the Japanese-Style Standard Room with No Shower Room, including breakfast for two, at a very reasonable price of AUD 500. This traditional ryokan has an incredible 800-year history, and you can truly feel the depth of culture in every detail of its design and...

The room was somewhat small, but this is to be expected with hotels in Japan, so wasn’t really an issue for...
