This studio is perfect for the vacationers who wants to spend their time out and about exploring the island and still have a very nice, comfortable place to come home to. Many guests feel there is no need to rent a car. Speedy Shuttle runs from the airport to Island Surf.

Free WiFi, Free Parking, AC, Keurig Coffee Machine, Mini Refrigerator, Microwave & Cable TV. There is no kitchen.

It's next door to South Maui Gardens: 14 food trucks in a beautiful tropical location filled with fountain statues and live music and Luaus, Hula Shows, Comedy Shows, Farmers Market. You can walk to “The Triangle”: South Maui‘s Entertainment Center; live music, bars, local shopping and restaurants.

We provide beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler on wheels, hair dryer - and a copy of “Maui Revealed” for guest use.

There is a solar heated pool on the 2nd floor with 2 gas BBQs, tables & chairs. We're minutes away from Foodland Grocery, a movie theater, and a Maui bus stop.

Clean room, air conditioner worked, bed was comfortable which was a nice surprise. Dive shop was just behind it (where I spent most of the trip). Location was right near the beach, and the food garden. Overall area and stay were just what I needed. The owner was great, messaged me with lots of information, and made sure I had everything I needed once I arrived. Would definitely stay again. (I stayed for 3 weeks)

This place has everything we needed. It has a fan and AC and a lot of beach supplies so we are always comfortable. The bed is comfy too. The host Ligia is very responsive and offers lots of help!The location can't be beat. Walkable to lots of food trucks, restaurants, Foodland and many beaches! South Maui Gardens is right next door and it's such a chill place with live music, shows, events. We learned to surf at the beach right across from the studio!

I stayed in Maui with my best friend for a week and we were in between 3 places. I am SO HAPPY we stayed here! Everything was walking distance. The beach park was in front of the building but the beach to swim was only 10 mins away walking. The South Maui Gardens was also right next door which is a beautiful plant nursery with food trucks, live music, small cute breakfast places, and events that a lot of people drive to. We only used our rental to go explore Hana and the luau in Lahaina because everything was so close. The room was absolutely perfect and comfortable! 10000/10!!! :)

Excellent Maui getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this apartment. The room was just as described. It is located on the 6th floor and there are elevators or stairs to access the room. Parking was not a problem. You are across the street from the ocean, one block away from brunch spots or food carts. The area is quite convenient. Communication was prompt and helpful. The room itself is simple but the small amenities like beach chairs and boogie boards are a nice touch. We would stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this property. The location was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, the gardens with the food trucks, and the lovely park across the street. Central location, easy access for food and beaches.

If you dont have a car, this is a great location. Close to food, bars and beaches. Plenty of activities close by. It is a studio without a kitchen, but we planned on eating out most days anyways. They had boogie boards and beach gear at the studio. The owner communicated extremely well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cozy Room!

The room was overall in great shape and clean. The host provided additional items such as beach towels and chairs. Although there’s no kitchen, the host has a microwave and refrigerator. The room was honestly a perfect fit for what we were looking for. The location is absolutely ideal and within walking distance to so many fun places to check out. The little touches the host has throughout the room was very much appreciated.

It was economical, great location and pretty cute!! I thought it was a nice touch, two chilled beers in the mini fridge with cold glasses even. We actually thought it was well appointed and probably would stay again. However, I was disappointed that when I let them know there were long black hairs more than 10 on the bathroom floor not because I wanted anything compensated but because I wanted to bring it to their attention for something to pay attention to, I heard nothing, not a word, not even an “ I m sorry we missed that” Yet they texted back about another matter, I was wondering about parking. Anyway, overall it was good for the price!! I would recommend

4 stars because of great price and location.

This property is definitely the best price/location combo I found, and because of that I'm giving it 4 stars. You can tell the owners care about the place because they decorated it very nicely and provide lots of great amenities that are super useful. They've done great work with such a small space. Now for the cons: 1) Attention to detail, especially with cleaning. Somehow a shoe that was partially hidden by the draping of the comforter by the side of the bed such wasn't found by the cleaner. Not sure how, I immediately tripped over it. The tub/shower could also have been cleaner. 2) Bugs. I didn't count this against the star rating because I realize it's Hawaii, and Kihei, and an old building, and you can't control the cleanliness of your neighbors, but there were definitely bugs. 3) There was no shampoo or conditioner provided, just a bar of soap. 4) There's no dead bolt. This felt unsafe. 5) The shower curtain liner was gross. Recommend replacing more regularly, or getting one that is patterned, not white. 6) The shower head is crazy low. If you're over 5' tall you're going to hate the shower. A new head that goes higher (like the kind that is also a handheld) is like $30 and easy to install and would make this sooooo much nicer for tall guys like me. 7) A curved shower curtain rod is cheap, easy to install, and would make the shower so much nicer. 8) The lights outside are always on and the curtain isn't very dark. A blackout curtain would be really nice.
