What is there to see and do in Kensington?
You don't need to spend a fortune to find places to visit in Kensington. You can budget for the top local attractions that interest you most, such as Circular Quay and Sydney Opera House, and then look for sights and activities that cost little or nothing at all. Explore and snap photos of landmarks like Sydney Harbour Bridge, or enjoy the outdoors at UNSW Village Green and Manly Beach.
How can I get to Kensington and get around on a budget?
Scoping out the transportation options in Kensington is a smart way to keep your trip affordable. The closest airport is 3.8 mi (6.1 km) away from the centre in Sydney Airport (SYD). However, if that doesn't suit your budget, you can book a flight to Western Sydney Intl. Airport (WSI), located 28.9 mi (46.5 km) away. Kensington may not have many public transport choices so a car rental could be an economical alternative to see the area.
