Friendly staff at reception and restaurant, they're helpful and informative. Quaint and pleasant room theme. Quiet location with distant views to the city East. About 5 to 10 minutes walk to the busier parts of the city and main transport routes, and there's a convenience store and pay carpark nearby. Nice twin vanity sink, and good hot water supply, but the toilet and shower areas were lit a bit dark and the black tiling didn't help brighten the area. I found it awkward to close the toilet privacy door due to very limited space. I would have loved small shampoo, lotion and soap packs rather than the large bottles afixed to the wall. I'd prefer if they supplied single-use room slippers, and I don't use the bathrobes (which were plain fabric rather than terry). Room size is just OK if you didn't have large suitcases, but would be a big problem if you did. The facade and reception area are lacking in the lavish look that I was expecting from a hotel of this rating.
