"This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at- beautifully clean, great facilities and so many lovely thoughtful touches! It really felt like luxury as everything was just so high quality. The underfloor heating, log burner and amazing mattress/sheets were highlights for us! Loved the complimentary extras too, particularly the pint of milk as you often forget to bring that when you arrive in the evening. The view from the kitchen is very special when you’re making your morning cup of tea....

"Beautiful property. Lots of space indoors and outdoors to relax. The surrounding area is stunning, with expansive views of the rolling countryside. The only sounds are birdsong and the very occasional car! The only downside of the property( which had been flagged-up by the owner) was the lack of dishwasher. As a group of 10, staying for 3 mights, there was a substantial amount of time spent washing and sorting crockery and cutlery! This time could have been better spent catching up,...

"This house has it all. Beautiful garden with hot tub and bbq hut. Inside the garden room with log burner was a great place to hang out . Only 5 minutes drive to Hawick so we went every day to do walks and pick up groceries. We were able to cook a full Christmas dinner in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed it in spacious dining room."

"This is a large farmhouse that can host a big group. It is very comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed the property but be aware that it is part of a group of houses, so you have neighbours next door... This is not a major issue and made up by the great views. Perhaps one suggestion would be to add a BBQ grill, and a new frying pan... The location is great and the town of Anwick a gem to visit. We really enjoyed Nothumberland!"

"We had a lovely stay. As we visited for an event nearby there wasn’t much time to explore the area but the cottage was a great base. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The dogs loved the large garden and we would definitely return."

"This place was fantastic. Location was great to visit all the towns nearby. The house was nicely furnished with all the amenities. Lots of space to move around. The last evening was chilly so we had a fire and it really warmed the place up!"

"The property is a lot bigger than the photos portray. Very spacious. There were also two single beds as well as a double in the area upstairs. Very tranquil surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
