"Second time staying here, and it certainly won't be the last. Great location, only 1.5mile walk into the local town with great amenities, pubs and restaurants etc. The cabins are basic but spotlessly clean, and actually contain everything you need. The beds are really comfirtable. Secure parking with keycode entry and highland cows in the front garden. Just lovely "

"The Scott was incredible. From the moment I stepped inside the staff were available, attentive, and helpful; they really add to this amazing property. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast service was great. Walking distance to City Centre makes this a great location. "It was difficult to find the first time. Probably more my GPS fault than anything. Once arrived, I had to walk around the area to find my lodgings. GPS said "you have arrived" well, that wasn't good enough. I walked around till I found it. I slept in the twin bunk room. The bottom bunk bed was very uncomfortable. "This was the most awesome place. My family loved it. We had been on vacation for 11 days at this point and stayed in many different locations and we all stated to one another we would have just stayed at this location the whole time. It's perfect. It was spacious, clean, had books, board games, an additional "sun room" with dining table. Two large beds, smaller table to eat at as well. I highly recommend. "

"So far the most comfy and welcoming place I have stayed at while here. This was my first time in the UK and I’m glad to have stayed here. Good room for the price with breakfast included. Only snag is the place is out of range for taxi/uber pickups. They are able to drop off if you’re coming from Edinburgh but best to rely on Eskbank station or a rental car if you need to get back."
