The staff in the restaurant were outstanding, great food and great service. Condition of the cabin was quite rundown & requires some maintenance.

The room size was good but the air conditioning was inadequate for the temperature with the room temperature not dropping below 28. The one lounge chair in the room was filthy. When the temperature is 38 degrees you need an air conditioner that works

Nice stay
Great place with a perfect location. Had an Executive which was very spacious. Restaurant had a reasonable menu but more vegetarian meals would be a great addition.

The property was very clean but is very tired. The mattresses were old and honestly terrible giving little rest. The food in the restaurant left a lot to be desired with one of the meals returned as inedible and another partially eaten then given up with meat overcooked, potato mash watery and salad old. Would recommend the kangaroo spring rolls though.

The whole property and amenities are completely run down, the staff are uninterested in actually providing friendly service - the guy checking in might need some lessons in customer service, the room was dirty - there were cups under the bed, the cups in the fridge were filthy, there were belongings from the previous people left in the room. I ordered a meal take away from the restaurant, it took over an hour, was left sitting on the bench for a further 20 mins then given to me cold, asked for a new meal and the microwaved the one they had there, the manager apologised but the only excuse given was they were busy. As a previous local and someone who travels from Darwin to Katherine often, I will never book here again. Expensive lesson. It used to be a nice place and staff used to care.

Disappointing compared to every other year. Was only a partial room clean, half a bed made and not the bunks. Floors weren't cleaned when the room was serviced. Replaced towels that were hanging even though a sign said ifnyou want them replaced leave them on the floor. Hopefully this was a once off as we usually have an awesome stay

The meal at Savannah's was amazing. Stayed 2 nights to do a Gorge Cruise so accommodation was OK. Given how hot it was disappointing couldn't leave AC on when we weren't there so very hot to come back to. Otherwise OK.

The rooms are very outdated and need a lot of work, beds were uncomfortable and bunk beds not made up when we arrived and no ladder to climb to the top bunk. For the price we paid the room was certainly disappointing. The grounds were lush and lovely food at the restaurant. Pool area was very old too.
