Great place to be based






I ran the 2026 Tokyo Marathon and this hotel was a 5-10 minute walk to the start line. The hotel is located near the train line and plenty of good restaurants. I suggest paying extra for the breakfast which offered a buffet and cooked to order American style egg dishes

The good parts: The front desk staff were very helpful when I needed to call the airline on a local Japanese telephone number, allowing me to use the front desk phone without charge. Had to take a smoking room. I’ve stayed in some before when there was no other option and it wasn’t terrible. But the smoking rooms here are BY FAR THE WORST. Everything else about the hotel was great, but if you book late and they only have smoking rooms left, be sure you’re prepared.

The bed is comfortable. It has a nice love seat. It's spacious. I love coming here to stay. And the train is a short walk away.
