We especially love the swimming pool length and it's different depths. The Kamala beach is just across the road and the waters were clear for a nice swim.Thabjs Lek and front desk staff for your good work. Will definitely come back again if I can book the hotel.

Rooftop View
The room we booked at The Palms Kamala beach was way more than what we expected. With three perfectly sized rooms, a dining room, large living room and the icing on the cake was the private rooftop patio with hot tub. Beautiful views and complete privacy. Our only issues was the our rooms weren’t thoroughly cleaned during our stay. Bathrooms not thoroughly cleaned and towels were never changed. With that said, we were still 100% satisfied with our stay. It’s not 5 star hospitality, but we we’re still pleasantly comfortable.

Overall, we were happy with this hotel. Things to know: only a minute's walk from the beach, but no view of anything beautiful from the room. While rooms pictured have a washing machine, there is not one in every room (we arrived expecting to be able to do laundry as we'd been traveling a while, but had no machine). There is no microwave, and the oven didn't work, so that limited our plans to cook/eat more in the apartment. When all was said and done, we were glad we stayed here because of the location, and the staff were friendly and helpful as they could be.

A truly awful experience, this place should not be on Hotels.com. The room given to us was a disaster, broken counter tops, no chair or sofa, not properly cleaned, no safe in the room and the hotel is not on the beach, it's a block or two away. I would never have booked this room if I knew the truth. They admitted that the safes were removed from all the rooms about 1 year ago and put into a room near the reception desk. All but 2 of the safes are too small to hold a laptop computer. I asked for the actual room that I paid for and the front desk person (named Wave) lied and said the hotel was full and there were no other rooms available. But the hotel was about 80% vacant. After 3 trips to the front desk and arguing with Wave for almost 1 hour she called the manager and upgraded me to a 1BR, 2 bath suite for an extra 300 baht per night. These are dishonest and disreputable people running the hotel and it needs to be removed from the Hotels.com web site.

The Palms is a nice place a short walk from the beach. As with any Thai establishment, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Clean but not what I expected.
I live in Bangkok. I was in Kamala for a short break. The hotel faces on to the main road which there are no photos of ( conveniently ) It’s super nice in the middle with the pool. Room was super clean. Staff were friendly. But there isn’t much to do in the area.

Nice and quiet hotel. Our reservation got a little messed up but the manager at the hotel upgraded our room for a small fee and we were so happy we upgraded. The room was so spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Bathrooms were also really nice and we had a functional kitchen. Also, the breakfast was great and the other food at the hotel was pretty good as well. We could tell that the room was a little dated but that didn't really bother us especially since we had so much privacy and space.

Great hotel, perfect location.
I stayed for a week at The Palms in Kamala. I found the location perfect - on the main street of the resort within walking distance of anywhere you might want to go in the resort, for example - the beach, shops, bars and restaurants, and the Aussie Sports bar if you want to watch sports.

The hotel offers good value for money. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Our room had a moist/closed off smell, which was not so pleasant, but we’re not sure if it was only our room. The personnel handed us an odor remover spray, but the smell didn’t go away. The hotel has a good location - only a short stroll from Kamela beach, which is a nice beach where you can easily rent sun beds and eat at one of the many restaurants on the beach. The sea was a bit rough as it was quite windy while we stayed there. There were beach guards on duty. Few mosquitos compared to other places we visited in Phuket.

Hidden gem in the center of Kamala
Great, central location. We stayed in the penthouse which had 3 separate bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and one living room. Besides that we also had a private rooftop with a outdoor Spa/tub. Perfekt sea vias well. No breakfast included but there's a lot of restaurants near by. The pool is long and suitable for swimming.

Vi bodde i ett familjerum och trivdes utmärkt. Två stora bra sovrum och var sin toalett. Stort vardagsrum med kök, balkong ut mot poolen. Poolen var ganska ostädad, vattennivån var för låg så det gick inte ner i reningsverket. För få solstolar. Hotellet ligger väldigt bra med nära till stranden, mitt bland mycket restauranger men ändå lite längre in så att man störs inte av någon trafik alls.

Mysigt hotell som ligger perfekt på ”strandvägen/turist”-vägen. Max 5 min gång till restauranger och den fantastiska stranden. Fräscha rum och ett mysigt men dock något trångt poolområde. Lite sämre wi-fi på sina håll på hotellet och städningen var lite sådär (håll koll på antalet handdukar varje dag, städerskan glömde lägga ditt nya ett par dagar. Kan rendera i att du får betala i slutet av vistelsen annars). Men överlag grymt hotell. Hut kommer vi fler gånger.

Very good Hotel
We highly recommend this hotel for several reasons : - well located (quiet place and near Kamala beach) - family rooms are big, modern and clean - nice swimming pools - great hotel staff who really helps you when needed

Hôtel bien situe , près de la mer et de toutes les commodités,endroit paisible et familiale. Par contre le petit déjeuner était médiocre pas de choix et pas très bon . Nous avons appréciez la petite salle de sport bien que le matériel était vieillot.Le personnel etait froid mais serviable.
