"The Jones Beach Hotel is a very homey place, located in a quiet residential neighborhood at the edge of Cedar Creek Park in Wantagh, New York. The park leads down to Jones Beach State Park, which has 6.5 miles of great beaches facing the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is like a bed and breakfast, with coffee and chat in the lobby in the mornings.
There is a high end restaurant located in the hotel serving lunch and dinner and a great diner, the East Bay Diner, about a ten minute walk away. The Long Island Railway is easily available in Wantagh for commuting to New York City, and you can even walk there if you can do a 25-30 minute walk.
I loved the location and I think that this hotel is a great place to stay for a visit to Long Island and New York City!"

"This was a beautiful apartment looking out on a canal in Baldwin Harbor. Easy parking and very quiet street.Clean, nicely stocked with coffee, with full kitchen, and beautiful aesthetic. Great Wifi and television, and A/C worked well in the face of a very hot week. Very cozy, homey feel.Highly highly recommend!"
