"We absolutely love the Delaware Hotel. This was our second stay and again, the highlight of our road trip. The staff is great, the quirky historic building is a delight for antique and history lovers and the location is fantastic. The hotel’s restoration is beautiful and the touches in each room make it a much more special stay than you can find at a typical hotel. There is no AC, but we were comfortable with a fan in the window. The bar and restaurant are top notch and deserve their own 5-star review. We will be back each time we pass through the area. "

"We absolutely loved the property and will definitely stay here again. We stayed for a whole week! My husband worked from the dining room and the deck—the WiFi was excellent. Walking with my dogs in the neighborhood was magical with stunning views at every turn. There is so little traffic, the roads are like really wide hiking trails. There are also two trailheads in the neighborhood, both easy hikes leading to stunning vistas. The yard isn’t fenced, so I just took the dogs out on leashes. The property manager responded to my questions within minutes, and the kitchen was well stocked with quality new pots and pans. If you’re looking for quiet natural beauty, this is an ideal place for you. "

We especially loved the quiet mornings with coffee on the deck and evenings watching the colors of the sky change.Just a heads-up: the road up to the cabin is a bit bumpy, so take it slow — but it’s 100% worth it once you arrive. We even spotted deer and a fox one day on the road. The peace, privacy, and views are unbeatable.Cate was a responsive host and even gave a hiking suggestion that we needed up doing and it was stunning views of surrounding 14ers. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place. We would not hesitate to book here again. Note there is not a Keurig but there is a drip coffee maker. Also the water pressure was amazing!"
