The hotel was quite nice, it appeared very new. There were a few things missing. For instance, there was nothing to be able to cook with though they provided a stove/oven. There were also no hooks for towels, so we had to hang them overtop the shower. The smart TV didn’t connect to our phones, so it wasn’t the type of smart TV we’re used to. People at reception were friendly, but contacting over WhatsApp wasn’t very helpful. Cleaning comes once a day and if you miss it, you’re out of luck. We did a late checkout for an additional R400, and we had people come to our room twice asking us to check out when we had confirmed twice the day before. The hotel has definitely 4-5 star potential, but there is attention to detail missing. The bed and aircon were very nice. Would have liked a fan and also an iron/ironing board.

Not worth the money
No water for 2 days on and off hotel staff didn't communicate problem also only allowed 1 room card so had to go every where together as place was all access control. Noisy checked out a day early best part was leaving this place

I had a phenomenal time. From the moment i arrived a beautiful lady chrcked me in an upgraded me to a room with a balcony. I loced it. Later on a young lady got me a remote for my television and airconditioning unit. House keeping was exceptional. Once i am in Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦 my home will be Black Brick hotel 2.

The property is not bad. Decent on a budget. Staff not very friendly at all. A bit too argumentative. It is very noisy and 1 bedroom is very small with low budget minimalistic furnishings. Rooms and bathrooms are very tight. Not comfortable just functional. Biggest issue was the noise from other apartments at nights in the morning. Very noisy with loud music. We left early for the Capital because it just was not comfortable.
