"It’s not what I expected a travelodge to be. It’s more like a mom and pop run motel. Our room was outdated, the loudest squeaky bed, silverfish in the bathroom. Old flat carpet. Not bad enough to leave but I won’t stay there again. "

"Their listing on VRBO is for the upper family home. I was in the apartment below. There are no pictures of this on the VRBO listing so I was thinking I was getting the three bedroom home. Since I was solo I was fine with the downstairs apartment, which is adorable. However, the family with small children were upstairs and there was a fair amount of noise that you would expect with little ones. When I googled the location on google maps and apple maps it has a notice "temporarily closed". This is very disconcerting but I did contact the owner and he assured me they were open. Short drive to the Hopewell Rocks. Remote location on the Fundy bay which is what I was looking for. "
