"The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). "I turned up a little late because Eurostar was delayed, but the hosts were very welcoming. I also had to leave early, before they woke but they were very kind and left some breakfast for me. I will stay again and enjoy the chateau more next time. Its a lovely place to stay and very safe if you have a car loaded full of things, as the court yard is walled with a gate."

We had a delightful evening meal with the hosts and another couple. We are on a cycle holiday and were thrilled to have our laundry done for us overnight. "A lovely newly refurbished house. I loved the premium quality cotton sheets and duvet cover. A super kingsize bed, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly squeezed orange juice( rare) bread, mini viennoiserie and home made jams. The hosts were very friendly and spoke English. "This was an Okay kind of stay. I believe the rooms are used by students in term times, the rooms lacked facilities, but the staff were very helpful. The old medieval town was the major plus with our one night stay. We shall return to Troyes."
