"We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. Our kids also enjoyed the multitude of items available for them to play with in the bunk room (crayons, drawing books, etc.). Last time we came to MDI we (as a couple) stayed in Bar Harbor. Being on the quiet side of the island was perfect for us. Two of the most kid-friendly trails on the island (Wonderland and Ship Harbor) are minutes from the house by car. One of the highlights was how close this is to Bass Harbor Head Light. We were able to walk (about 5-10 minutes) on an evening where there was a beautiful sunset which meant **lots** of people wanted to go see it too. There was a line of cars to get into the tiny parking lot and we just walked right in. LOL For our family, this was a fantastic stay."

"Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent 3 days enjoying the area; hiking in Acadia, browsing shops in Bar Harbor and eating lots of Maine lobster-(btw, Beal’s in Southwest Harbor lobster rolls 10/10). The location is nice with a spacious, tranquil yard. A few deer wandered through the yard briefly at dawn and dusk, along with many songbirds. It felt relaxing. The cottage is roomy with lots of seating, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We would stay again."

"We found the Beehive tiny house impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. A comfortable home base for exploring Acadia, the Carriage Trails, and all the area had to offer. Checkin was smooth with excellent communication. Such a peaceful, quiet spot to enjoy nature and the simple things. Will come again!"

"Location was nice due to away from tourist chaos. Driveway a bit tricky but we managed with a 4Runner. Weather was just warming but there were fans in every bedroom to circulate air - big bonus for someone that is accustomed to constant ceiling fan. Good location for driving to Acadia park and a sweet lighthouse south of home where we went to watch a beautiful sunset."

"Great little cottage, perfect for a couple couple to stay and hike and explore Acadia and MDI. Everything was as advertised, WiFi was a tad spotty but was a great experience overall!"
