"A somewhat worn down resort, 2 small pools no other shared facilities. Some cafés, restaurants and a good grocery store very close by though.
Also very close to swimming lake (Lac de Saint-Cassien, recommended), Cannes, the Riviera etc.
A holiday home - not suitable for short stays due to cleaning costs and not so flexible check-in hours. Check-in after 19 possible, but has to be arranged. Staff didn't speak English on the phone - code exchange was difficult.

One of the best hotels I have ever stated in!!
- rooms are exquisite and absolutely huge by European standards with complimentary minibar.
- concierge were extremely helpful (the person I was travelling with had his bag stolen on the train and concierge staff were brilliant)
- facilities were fantastic with a great pool on the top level
- the included breakfast was beautiful.

I absolutely loved everything about Le Cavendish Hotel! Right from the moment we arrived Veronique greeted us and let us check-in to our room one hour before the usual check-in time. The location was perfectly situated on the main boulevard, only a 10 minute walk to shops, restaurants and waterfront. The superior room was a perfect size, very spacious and so was the bathroom. Cannes is very expensive so this was ok as we only stayed one night. It is a basic hotel, but very friendly service and about 10min walk to the Croisette. Nice pool area. However, not good when travelling with dogs as there are no green areas around, and in the park nearby dogs are banned
