"Noisy heater. Ruined my sleep"

"I think the room is too cold. Or maybe its needed with a duvet in the winter. I find myself really cold in the room despite heating and I didn't sleep so well as a consequence. Equally I was very troubled by the dings of the elevator. I was allowed to get a different room but the room I was given was also very close to the elevator so I still was disturbed by 'dings'. Last time I visited (in January) the room was far better located, in a corner far away from the elevator (also very cold though). I found the breakfast room to be extremely busy with long queues every day. "

"The two bedroom suites are great especially for longer stays, full kitchen and lots of space. We have stayed several times over the past 2 months and we have enjoyed the stay every time."

"Stayed for 1 night for Uof T Eng Skule Nite at Hart House Theatre and after event at the Duke of York. Staff was accomodating (early checkin), room clean, nice towels, bed comfortable, heating good, low noise level (at least for my stay, although they provided ear protectors in bathroom). Easy access with proximity access cards. WiFi good for streaming, although it did drop out once for a short period. Short walk to UofT St. George Campus and St. George Subway station. Easy to get around downtown if you get a Presto transit card. I came in on VIA Rail at Union Station, so easy to travel between Union Station and the Madison. Friendly Pub where checkin is located is next door, and serves good breakfast and pub grub (beers on tap, wine liqor, etc.). It's not "fancy", but a a good *** hotel at a reasonable price in a convenient downtown location."
