Very clean, good modern facilities. Good location. Decent breakfast options. Comfortable bed and couch. Best hotel gym facilities I’ve used also. Definitely would stay again.

My second time at this location. It does the job for me. I was not on holiday, so needed a "home base". The room was roomy, bed comfortable. The shower worked well (not always the case in some places). The location was the greatest advantage for me - heart of Chicago, close to everything, by walking, bus, L, or taxi. The staff was courteous and responsive. Only negative was the restaurant was not functioning. But plenty of food options nearby.

Staying at the Aloft is very central and walkable to most things. With concrete walls the rooms are quite as we didnt hear anything from next door. Close to shopping and dining options. Walkable to Mag mile and Navy Pier. We caught the train from the airport with a short walk to the hotel without changes from train to bus.

Hotel check in and out was fast and friendly. When checking out to head to the airport we asked the staff to call us a taxi but they actually have a driver waiting outside so we were able to go straight away.
The room was very comfortable. But what stood out the most for us was the complimentary guest facilities, there were 2 self serve laundry facilities and also a complimentary coffee machine area that made delicious cappuccinos which was a bonus for us coming from AU

Great hotel to use as your springboard to Chicago. The hotel is in a safe area, near great eats in Hyde Park. The rooms are comfortable and the free shuttle bus in and out of downtown Chicago is the bomb. Will stay here again.
