"this is a really great property. These folks are just getting started with it and managed to gracefully handle all issues even though they’re in the throes of starting up their Airbnb they were wonderful staff, and I truly look forward to seeing them grow and growing this business with these really cool historical rooms and space. "
"Not much around the property, no breakfast included, and no nearby options. But the room was nice and the AC on cool when I arrived, so that was a plus. "

The downtown is going through many challenges because of the installation of sewer systems. Streets are torn up and traffic is deterred. It will be nice once completed but that is a year away we are told.

The road construction took getting used to but the location was great for trips to Wind Cave NP and Custer SP. Hotel staff were nice and helpful.

The reason for the 3 stars is the roads are torn up for construction and you wait forever at the lights. The gas stations don't open till 7 and no one in the town has decaf coffee. Sorry but some of us old people can't have caffeine

We go to Hot Springs for the mineral springs at Moccasin Springs. We love it there. We ate at the new Mexican restaurant called Jalapeño Grill. The service and food were excellent.

Hot Springs is a nice town. Would definitely visit again but probably look for a different place to stay.
"Bavarian Inn is perfectly located a short distance to restaurants and shops and has immediate access to the highway for Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore. It had amazing amenities for families with two pools, indoor and outdoor games, cookie hour and make your own milkshake. The staff was hospitable and friendly and their commitment to service was refreshing and should be the standard for all hotels."
"We had a family cabin and it was quite nice. Very comfortable and plenty of room with a queen bed in a bedroom and bunk bed and futon in living room. Good location, too, "
