"I had a rental car hiccup (note: check the hours of your rental car company if you’re flying into a small airport, they close for as many as 8 hours between incoming flights). I called and they made arrangements for me to check in late. Everything g was perfect and the room was fully illuminated and welcoming when I arrived. Breakfast was amazing and this place has quirky charm for days! I just wished I had stayed here longer. "

"We were so glad to find a hotel available after "season" in Custer. Visiting friends and had a great time. The hotel was getting ready for their remodel, so there were trucks and boxes. But our room was recently painted and worked great for out stay. Curtis was friendly helpful and we had a nice morning breakfast. Can't wait to stay again in the new remodeled version"

"First the one thing we didn’t like - there is no elevator and our room was on the second floor. But staff was friendly and check-in and check-out went well. Bed were comfortable, lots of hot water and thick towels for showers. OK breakfast - cereals, bread and toaster, milk, orange juice, coffee, bananas, oranges, cold hard-boiled eggs. Right in the heart of Custer. Easy to walk to stores and restaurants. We’d recommend - but ask for a room on the first floor if stairs are an issue. "
