The staff member behind the front desk helped us with where to park our car over our stay. We also got room service for our night meal from the restaurant located inside the hotel and the food was wonderful. The gentleman who brought our food to our room was very professional. Sorry Rapid City… but this hotel was much better than I expected in Rapid City. Rooftop bar was nice, main floor pub was great, and the rooms were super clean. Two thumbs up!!

Centrally located and very convenient. Quirky old hotel with a friendly staff and nice amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, Custer State Park, or any of the other attractions in the area!

The room was great, the bathroom was a little small, if it was more than me, it would have been a challenge. Love the plugs and night stands on each side of the bed for the tech and water. The bed and bedding were great. The only thing I wish I knew was don't stay on the side with the alley, the garage trucks come early morning and make a bunch of noise, I was on the fifth floor and could hear everything, I can image the noise on the lower floors

The hotel has been modernized- yet it has kept its historic ambience. The front desk staff was very helpful. The housekeeping staff missed a lot of details- but the front staff came through. The bar on the roof was fabulous! The location was excellent - Steps to Main Street restaurants and the many statue of all our presidents. The elevators are state of the art and take a little getting used to.
