"We absolutely loved our stay at Glamping in the Hills! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful setting, and we loved that it was so family-friendly. It made for a really special getaway!We did have rain throughout our entire trip, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. There was something really peaceful about being tucked away in the hills listening to the rain!The one challenge was having a single shared shower for multiple campsites. With the rain continuing throughout our stay, getting to and from the shower and keeping everything dry made it a little less enjoyable than it would have been with better weather. Having additional shower facilities would definitely be a wonderful improvement.Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and are so glad we chose Glamping in the Hills! The beautiful setting, clean accommodations, welcoming hosts, and family-friendly atmosphere made it a memorable stay. We would happily come back and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a fun, peaceful, and unique glamping experience! "

"We knew we were glamping but I wasn't prepared for mouse p**p throughout... It is luxury to have a tent with a toilet and shower, for sure. The lounge and restaurant were comfortable and good. I think it's important to know ahead of time that good of any kind is not allowed in the tents. Makes sense but just made for extra planning with Dog food"

"Beautiful house on a beautiful property in a beautiful area. My wife and I stayed here for a little over a week and had a great time. Conveniently located to Custer State Park and the monuments. We really enjoyed getting up early and spending the pre-dawn hours watching the sky and spending late afternoons on the back deck. If you're quiet, you can watch deer foraging close by in the early mornings/evenings.The house has a great view of Rushmore and it is nice to watch the monument change with the light/weather. Seemed like it was different every single day.The bathrooms are clean and well-furnished.My wife says she is looking forward to coming back to this property- she doesn't say that often."

"Beautiful room and beautiful location. Sunrise from the porch was breathtaking. Very close to all major attractions in the area. We didn't get to meet Richard, but the sweet little kitty did come in and make herself at home."

"I had some trouble finding the place and didn't get there until after dark, which made it hard to see landmarks noted in directions. However the host found me and got me to my tent. It was also fairly far from any groceries/restaurants, so wishing I had brought more food with me."
