"I would give the property a better review if the mattress and pillows were updated. I could clearly see the mattress had 2 valleys. And pillows were small, flat and not comfortable. The service and the employees make the stay awesome. Special kudos to the bartender Shaun at the Swim bar. Scorpions Rock! Robert on pigeon patrol at the Swim bar! And to all of the others that make the Hyatt Waikiki…. I’m sure we will be back with hope of an updated room. W. G. Doty."

"Everything was amazing, cleanness, staff and breakfast and can’t forget the bar on site. If there was to be something to improve maybe but not a big deal is the laundry system there’s only 2 washers for 19-20 floors and if your staying there for more than 5 days it’s very useful but wait time can be long if ppl are not on top of their times."

"My wife collapsed (I suspect as a result of dehydration) just after we had checked out at reception. The duty manager was there in a flash and my wife’s collapse had been observed by one of the ladies at reception, who immediately called 911. The staff were very helpful. They even arranged for my wife and I to return to the room we had just checked out of so my wife could lay down and recover after the paramedics had finished with her. Very impressed with their level of concern. Highly recommend The Wayfinder as a place to stay in Waikiki."

"Too crowded - felt like I was at Disneyland. Pools were disappointing. Beach was great but they were charging $100 a day to rent a chair and umbrella. Also they had loud construction going on right by the main pool. I would not come back again"
