"This property was awesome as a whole. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the only thing that kinda sucks that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the hotel itself was that you can smell the city dump on warm days but that is not the fault of the hotel. "

"This is my 2nd experience staying there. My only request for the future is to put some carpeting in the rooms. Something needs to be placed on the bathroom floors to prevent slipping. Aside from that, everything else is great. Keep up the great work. "

"Our experience at Lake Wanoka Resort in the Poconos was absolutely amazing! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway for my husbands birthday. It felt like a true home away from home. The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The resort grounds are amazing. The other campers were so friendly. There is also a restaurant on the resort and the staff are so nice. My husband and I connected with so many people and they made us feel like family. The food at the Resturant is really good and the bartender Seth is Excellent with drinks. I highly recommend this resort for couples, families, or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Poconos in a comfortable and welcoming place. We’ll definitely be back! "I love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since it’s a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While there’s limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which I’ve stayed in - there’s a reason for upgrading !)"
