"Such a lovely stay and overall experience — definitely one I’d repeat. If you’re visiting in winter, there are a few things to keep in mind: make sure to read all the information they provide. If you plan to use the jacuzzi, start heating it as soon as you arrive so you can really enjoy it; same with the sauna. I think I’d even pay a bit extra if the heating were electric, but honestly, if you have the right attitude, lighting it yourself becomes part of the fun and the experience. I originally booked just one night and ended up extending my stay because the place is beautiful. Bring plenty of matches or lighters, and dress very warmly. Inside, they offer three options to keep you warm, so that’s not an issue — but being outside can be cold. The storage space is very spacious and can really come in handy."

"The cabin was very clean and was perfect for a place to stay before a local ice fishing trip. The walkways and driveway were accessible after a heavy snowfall. I would love to see the surrounding area and accessible dock in the spring! Thank you!"

"The house is great! The common areas on the main floor are huge with lots of space to gather even large groups. Downstairs was good with the game room and a couple of bedrooms.As others have said, there is NO hand soap in the bathrooms. Some of the consumables - dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. - were also a little low.We very much enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again if we have the need or opportunity!"

"The photos do not lie, this home is beautiful. There are a few quirky things, like we couldn’t figure out how to get any of the AC units working with the remote - however, I know if I would have texted them, they would have helped immediately but the weather was cool so we didn’t need them. The basement and 2 extra bedrooms downstairs would be a PERFECT addition, but it does look like they are remodeling. Great communication with the host. Beautiful stay!"
