"The house was charming and quirky and filled with character. We all fell in love with it! The bedrooms were spacious and the living space was great. We loved that the dining table had room for all 8 of us. The grounds were beautiful and the kids loved catching fish, roasting marshmallows and playing on the swing. The location was so convenient but away from the crowds. The host responded to our questions and needs promptly. We had a great stay!"

"It is a beautiful house! It had everything my family and we needed. The kitchen is big perfect for large gatherings and cleaning is also made easier by the multiple sinks and 2 dish washers. Master bedroom is downstairs which was convenient. And each of my family members had their own bedroom with their own bathroom upstairs. Which worked out great when it was time to get ready for church on Sunday. The house in general needs some dusting off but overall it was a great stay and we thank Matt...

"Our family had a lovely stay at the farmhouse! It is close enough to necessities (groceries, gas, dollar store, liquor store, fast food), but tucked away in nature. Some bees and newly spread manure kept us from spending extended periods outside at first, and even though it rained there was plenty of covered outdoor and indoor activities and spaces to congregate. The train goes by frequently but we got used to is. Overall lovely home and we absolutely will be back with friends!"

"We rented the property to visit family and the house was in a perfect location for us. From the moment we stepped in, it was a beautiful home! We walked into some freshly made cupcakes and a little message. It was very welcoming. There were enough beds to sleep 8 people comfortably and to my surprise, they had some toys in the living room! My 4 yr old was excited. It was a very comfortable home that was perfectly equipped for our family needs. Communication from the home owner was great and next...

"Just the stairs are a problem - too shallow for a foot to fit on them and one step - third one up is a full inch shorter than others - several of us adults fell or mistepped"

"Beautiful old house with modern amenities. My kids loved seeing the chickens and horses and a friendly cat was waiting for us outside every morning. The hosts are friendly and their home is on the same piece of property so they were there to welcome us and answer some questions when we were admiring the horses in the "meadow." Not a complaint, but be warned, it's an old house, so there aren't many outlets in the bedrooms, you might want a few power strips with long cords if you want a phone...

"We LOVED our 3 night stay at this property. We were there celebrating my husband's birthday with friends and family and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home has everything you could need to cook and share a meal. I made guacamole one evening and went looking the the kitchen drawers for a lemon/lime juicer and found one! Was not expecting the property to be so well stocked, but it was definitely appreciated by everyone. The home was clean and comfortable and tucked away...

"The Farmhouse is beautiful! We were impressed with the space and how perfectly it was organized for our group. It was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not have much awake time to spend at the Farmhouse. Time and weather did not allow us to take full advantage of the outside area, but it was quite welcoming."

"This was a great big old farm house on a maple syrup farm. We had a tour of the business from the owner. So informative. We stayed 3 nights over new years and booked again for next year.."

"Enjoyed our trip with our doggo. The downstairs rental had surprisingly large bedrooms and a very large bathroom, which was nice where we had little ones running around. It's a historic building so if you like the vintage charm and quirks, it's great and a great value. If you're accustomed to more polished accommodations, this may not be for you. the yard is huge and my kids had fun playing in the snow. Also, there are goats next door. Did I mention the goats?"
