"All worked perfectly with the handover. The instructions are very good for finding the house as GPS can be unreliable up there. It is way off the beaten track and very isolated. "Cuckoo cottage is set in a superb isolated environment with views for miles across the Northumberland hills punctuated by the flight and cries of swallows, and curlews, yet accessible to roads which lead one to the fantastic natural resources of the county. It is a wonderfully peaceful comfortable home to return to after a day’s walking and exploring and the owners show concern for all one’s needs whilst appreciating one’s privacy - an excellent rental!"

"This was our second visit to Charlton Hall and this time stayed in The Tempus. It didn’t disappoint. Everything is well thought out, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We ate in the Orangery a couple of times, both of which were delicious. The staff are attentive and courteous. What’s not to love! We will return! "
