"I liked everything about the property. The variety of restaurants was awesome. There were plenty of activities during the day and at night were perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish though the beach could have been cleaner. There was too much seaweed. I know it’s the time of year when it’s the worst but can’t enjoy the ocean and the beach when it’s cluttered with seaweed."

"The resort was excellent. The staff was always cleaning so the property was well kept. Guests that stayed there were pigs. They left their garbage and food all over the beach. They showed no respect. It was mostly the younger generation. Its too bad because its a nice resort. I would definitely visit the Riu Republica again. I want to thank everyone at the Riu Republica for everything they did to make our stay there enjoyable and memorable. Ginnette Hartlen and family"

"The rooms were clean, and we came to celebrate a birthday, we had an absolute blast! The pools were amazing, and the swim-up bar was definitely one of our favorite spots. The staff was incredible, so friendly and fun, and they really made the experience even better. The only thing I’d recommend is making your restaurant reservations as early as possible, since they can fill up quickly. Overall, the resort had great vibes, and we had an amazing time. We’d definitely come back!!!"

"Vacation was wonderful, just wished if I had known I'd be pressured to buy a vacation package, I'd opt out of it earlier. Other than that I enjoyed my swim out pool right of my room. Yes the bugs are there but I'm surrounded by vegetation so it's a given it would attract bugs. The amenities were nice, plenty to do. Drinks were a bit on the light side but I kind of like it that way. I got the stomach flu on the last day coming home not sure what I ate/drank but stood with me for a few days even after antibiotics."
