"A really nice hotel. Only minor complaints are that the elevators were too slow (which caused issues around mealtimes and at checkout) and the area has a lot of traffic noise (especially if you have the windows open)."

"The star hotel is an historical property right on a main street in Southampton. The staff members were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay!"

"A beautiful entrance as you drive up to the hotel. Loads of parking spaces. The receptionist was very polite & efficient when booking us in. The rooms were tidy/clean well kept. The bed was confortable, the pillows were to die for. Loved our evening meal, great choices, & flavoursome. The grounds were picturesque & loved the wild life/nature. Perfect for a stroll. Only negative was the loudness of doors banging shut. Otherwise I give this hotel 4stars "
