It's superb for evening strolls, with plenty of restaurants offering waterfront dining. The easy access to ferries and buses makes exploring Valletta and Sliema straightforward, allowing for relaxing days of sightseeing without the fuss of car hire.For those travelling with family, the area around the Gzira Gardens, just a short walk inland from the promenade, is a good option. While still close to the waterfront's amenities, it offers a bit more space with a small park for children to play.
