"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Palazzo Violetta at the end of April 2024. The hotel is spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful and we will stay here again, it is a very good location for buses/ferries but we will request a different room. We were located at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy, we could have asked to move rooms but did not want to re-pack so we just endured the noise. The walk back to the hotel is all uphill which is fine if you are mobile. There are not many...

"My stay was excellent in every respect except one. There is no security for guests entering the building, lifts or corridors. There is a route in which bypasses reception and is open 24 hours. This was a background concern, otherwise excellent value for money, location, cleanliness, facilities, friendly staff. "

"The Europa Hotel is in an excellent location on Sliema seafront and has a convenient drop off lane outside away from the busy main road. Popular beaches are a short walk away, as are some shops including chain stores. There are many atmospheric bars and restaurants on the promenade. The hotel staff are very welcoming and mostly very pleasant, this includes those on reception,in the restaurant and cleaning staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, the showers are excellent and free...

"There’s a few small things this hotel could do to bring it back up to 4star status, having one of the lifts out of order doesn’t help, also the indoor pool and hottub need to be back up and running. Some sound proofing in the rooms would be nice, mine was near the (working) lift which I could hear very clearly everytime it was used. (Take earplugs!) The WiFi is a bit patchy too, the TV in my room was temperamental and the water pressure is an issue - takes ages to run a bath! But the staff were...
