"To begin with, I arrived at the place; the door was closed, and I did not have the combination code for the building and do. ot the assigned room, never contacted by anyone. I was strolling in the street until a good Maltese Samaritan helped me contact the management using his phone; by the time I went to my room was 11:30 PM. The room service comes every day; they never changed the sheets or replaced the towels."

"It was a great stay. Room was very comfortable and clean at all times. We were upgraded to a higher suite which came as a pleasant surprise on arrival. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly which is a big positive for the hotel. A couple of points they can perhaps improve, we felt it can do with more activities for the kids. Usually resorts of this band run a kids club which was missing at this hotel. They had live music in the bar on thursday which was brilliant and very entertaining but was not well published. We happened to be at the bar by chance that evening and would have liked to be informed of live music evenings as we really enjoyed it and could have planned it better."

"This was a late booking due to a power cut in Valletta. The staff at check in were very helpful. We arrived very quickly after booking and they didn’t have the rooms that I had booked ready. But they resolved this very quickly. The only downside to the stay was the air con in the room wasn’t the best."

"The room we had for this hotel was fantastic. Lots of storage, a spotlessly clean room and bathroom with a balcony that had views out over the sea. The pool area on the basement level has a gym attached and it was spacious. The breakfast offering in the morning was good and there was plenty of food choices to choose from. One thing which was not explained to us at reception was the towel card which embarrassingly we then had to go back upstairs to our room to collect it otherwise there would have been a surcharge. Other than that minor blip, it was a great stay and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you."

"Do not hesitate to book this hotel! This hotel is in a great location overlooking Spinola Bay but also for visiting the rest of Malta. Bus stops opposite and literally in front of the hotel for both directions also make for easy travel although we found uber great. Georgios the manager was so welcoming and professional and clearly works hard to ensure his staff are happy because all the staff were brilliant ie. William, Frank, Ojo, Manwel and the cleaner of our room was so happy and polite. The staff really made our stay memorable! The rooms are spacious, very clean and have a great shower. The balcony was amazing night and day to just sit and watch the world go by. The food at the hotel is lovely, we had lunch and it was so tasty (Salmon poke bowl and club sandwich) generous portions of salmon and the sweet potato fries were the best we have ever had! The hotel also has an asian fusion restaurant called Zest but we did not manage to dine there but some of our lunch menu came from there and it was beautiful. The rooftop pool and bar are clean and inviting, towels are provided and we never struggled for a bed. There are some shaded areas too; needed in this heat! Plenty of sophisticated bars and restaurants surround the hotel but there are also cheaper eat places too. Great suoermarkets. Paceville is a few minutes walk up the hill for shopping and ‘ibiza’ style bars for the younger generation. Don’t miss out on a great experience at this hotel. Book it, you will not regret it!"
