"Very nice welcome from the house manager, Danila, who was helpful and charming. Villa was comfortable but it would have been nice to have had some basics in the kitchen such as olive oil, bread and milk, and soap/shower gel in all the bathrooms. "House was not clean. We spent time vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen. Stovetop vent had fallen off and a hose was left. Caretaker turned on heat and opened radiators. In the morning many had leaked especially the living room. We spent an hour moving furniture and mopping. We were told to use catch basins and to continue to use radiators. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße und hat leider keine Parkmöglichkeit (wurde im Inserat aber behauptet). "Our family was fortunate enough to rent Villa Olivia in Meina for most of August. The villa was extraordinary, perched on a hill overlooking Lago Maggiore. We only have wonderful things to say about the home, from the impeccable accommodations, warm pool (heated), sauna and lots of room to enjoy the days and evenings as a family. The owner, Sara, was quick to respond to every need and went out of her way to make suggestions for sightseeing, trips to the mountains and finding the best beaches....

"The property was everything it advertised to be...the setting and interior were absolutely stunning and well kept. Everything was clean and inviting for our family of 15. Large rooms, nice bedrooms & bathrooms and well-stocked kitchens. We spent a week during the Christmas holiday, and they greeted us when we arrived and even set up a beautiful Christmas tree for our family. We were very impressed and grateful for such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back."

"My husband and I had six nights in this beautiful villa in Baveno. It is high in the town with a 10 minute walk down to the ferries/train/bus, as the listing indicates. "We had a wonderful experience at the property. I had two kids with me. The staff responded to your enquiries very quickly. They were polite, professional, and warm. The room was clean and had modern amenities. I wasn’t bothered with one soap bar. I’m sure if I requested for another one, they would’ve happily given me another one. I love the convenience of the shuttle pick-up. I love the breakfast options with bacon, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, cereals, and endless pastries. The dinner was so lovely. The staff was accommodating. The price was reasonable. I would definitely stay there again if I had so stay near the Malpensa airport. "
