The only negative(s), one small elevator trying to get many checked out in the AM. Be prepared to go up to come down. Additionally, the free breakfast was like a college cafeteria. No one was clearing the tables—folks would eat, leave and the used placed settings remained. You needed to hunt for a clean space."

One of the highlights was enjoying cocktails at the Hemingway Bar while listening to live piano music. The spa was wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, and was the perfect place to relax. The hotel is also very well located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. A beautiful hotel full of character, and a truly memorable stay."

"Stayed one night at this hotel prior to my flight. It was clean, comfortable, convenient and very accessible to the train station(a bonus). Food and drinks are served at the hotel (also a plus). However, while the check in/reception staff were nice, I had an unfortunate experience of being deliberately ignored or refused service by the lady at the bar which was a most unfortunate experience and one that left quite a sour taste to an enjoyable trip to Italy. Luckily the front desk lady stepped in and helped, and for that I am thankful. I am old enough to know that people’s feelings or opinions of you are entirely their own and a reflection of their own upbringing, especially if you have never interacted before."

"I would recommend staying at a hotel closer to the airport. Even though this hotel says it is not far from the airport, a taxi costs around €50, and if you are traveling alone, the shuttle back to the airport can cost around €40–45. With those transfer costs, you can find a hotel much closer to the airport and avoid the stress. Our stay was extremely strange and stressful. When we arrived, the lady at reception told us that there would be no taxi or shuttle available in the morning to take us back to the airport. Even the taxi driver who brought us from the airport had told us the same thing. We became very worried because we had a flight to catch and absolutely did not want to risk missing it. Because of this, we decided to go back to the airport and look for another hotel. Unfortunately, all the nearby hotels were fully booked, so we had no choice but to return to this hotel. Thankfully, when we came back, there was another gentleman at reception who was extremely helpful and managed to arrange everything for us. In the morning, the shuttle was indeed waiting for us, and we made it to the airport without any problems. So, while everything worked out in the end, the experience was unnecessarily stressful. The conflicting information from the staff was the biggest issue. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend confirming your airport transfer in advance and getting clear confirmation from the hotel."
