However, once you are up, you really appreciate the view and the calm. You can appreciate a comfortable house in pure sixties style, very cool. "Probably the nicest villa we've stayed at in many years of coming to Italy; beautifully situated right on Como with a swimming dock that private boat rentals can also come to directly. There is easy access to town walking along a protected pedestrian pathway separated from the road. The house itself is well appointed -- the bedrooms are all very comfortable with good AC and plenty of storage; the fridge is large and gas range was great for cooking the nights we stayed in. "My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks in this beautiful villa and didn’t want to leave. Feroza is a wonderful host, very kind, she left us eggs from her own hens, marmalade made from the fruit of her own trees, homemade cake and she was very helpful. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). "Our stay was for 5 days with my spouse and 3 sons (all 18+) and son-in-law. Property was big enough for 6 of us adults with a lot of beautiful windows for cooling down the apartment. It didn't help there was a major heat wave in Italy the time we were staying but the property mgr brought us an additional 2 fans to help as apt is without a/c. "Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Ordentlich, sauber und gemütlich! Allerdings keine Aussicht!!! Wer keine Koffer schleppen kann hat Schwierigkeiten da die letzten Meter zur Unterkunft am besten nur über die Treppe zu erreichen ist. Nur wer ein „sehr“ kleines Auto hat kann unter sehr schwierigen Umständen vorfahren. Der Eingang durch Heizungsraum und Waschküche stört mich nicht. Der Telefonkontakt war sehr freundlich also gerne wieder wenn ich in Lugano zu tun habe!"
