10/10 Excellent

"This was truly the best hotel that we stayed in while we were in Scotland! The only problem is that it is in Glasgow, and it is not even close to one of the prettiest places in the country. If you go to Scotland, you need to go to the Highlands or the Isle of Skye and not here. This hotel is awesome though!! The service was fantastic and the rooms and interior are beautiful. Be sure to take a few minutes to sit in the bar area and enjoy the quiet ambiance or sit the breakfast area and sip a coffee or tea. "

"The only negative, and it is a big one in my estimation, is that I feel this hotel, being an airport hotel, should have a shuttle to take guests to the terminal instead of making them walk 10 or 15 minutes with their luggage. For older and disabled persons this would be quite difficult. I have never known of a hotel near an airport not to provide a shuttle to transport their guests to the terminal!"

"I stayed for one night in May 2026, and my experience was okay. The bed was comfy, and I slept well, and all of the staff I encountered were very kind and helpful. I had dinner and breakfast there, and the food was overall pretty good. However, the property is very dated and when I arrived I found a long piece of wall/wallpaper hanging off the wall beside the main bed. It looked terrible, and the wall beside it was filthy. See pictures attached. I did ask to be moved rooms, and although the gentleman helping me was very kind and did speak to his manager to try and accommodate my request, I was told that the hotel was fully booked so I could not be moved. They did offer me a complimentary breakfast as a result, which was appreciated; however, the general shabiness of the room, with the wallpaper issue and dirty walls, plus glasses in the room that also looked a bit grubby, were all very off-putting, and certainly not the standard I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I would also add that having instant coffee packets at the breakfast, and only soya milk as a non-dairy alternative, were disappointing. "

6/10 Okay

"I got a small double room which was fine. The carpet in the room wasn't the cleanest, the bed was extremely hard, and the pillows were very stiff. The next morning we went down to look at the breakfast and they didn't have a lot on offer but some people would probably have been fine with the breakfast. My biggest complaint was the service elevator. Our room was right next to it and starting at 7am, it made this super loud horrible noise which kept waking us up. Maybe if someone had a room far away from that it would be a good hotel, but we left tired and went and got breakfast elsewhere"
