Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow

Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow

10/10 Excellent
"All staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. Angus was a lovely caring patient member of the team answering all my questions over the phone and was just as lovely in person. Executive lounge was a lovely peaceful space . The room was lovely and spacious and beautiful clean linen. The carpet on arrival could have been cleaner, I love the gorgeous green bathroom tiles although the bath panel needs changed as the water had started to seep into the materials and distorting the finish . Two shower heads over the bath were a lovely touch for choice . Disappointingly the bath was not as clean as it should have been with water level marks and what looked like a large dusty shower gel blob . Toiletries were very nice and the little complimentries were a lovely touch . Both the bed and pillows were too hard for our preference and did interfere with both of our sleeps, all down to personal choice. Good range of drinks in room, for an executive would have expected more than 2 little shortbread rounds although delicious . The safe was locked so every time you opened therefore it swung open . There were no drawers in the room at all which I found odd . The breakfast in the morning was superb , a lovely fresh vegetable omelette made by Thabo was delicious . All in all I would say our stay was lovely and we had a great time . Would go back anytime . Thank you to all the staff involved making it all so welcoming ."

10/10 Excellent
"Everyone was helpful, accommodating and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Car parking in rear lot saved us lots of time not having to look for parking spots. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Kelvingate Park was a beautiful walk through. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the M8."

"Great location just a block off the pedestrian only city centre walking areas. Really good for parking too - underground lot entered into from behind the hotel just be ready for those wicked switchbacks going from floor to floor. Rooms good, bar area very nice, strong breakfast with haggis and potato scones available and good."

"A lovely place, fabulous room, wonderfully convenient in terms of the city centre....shame one of the lifts was out of action on Sunday causing a back log queuing for the them. Also not a fan of having to pay additionally for the parking."
