"The hotel was clean and well-maintained and has been updated nicely. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our view of the Falls was picturesque. The staff did a good job of managing elevator traffic in the lobby. Two areas for improvement would be parking and the bathroom door. The hotel offered 3 parking options: valet for $100/day, self-parking in the hotel garage for $70/day and an off-site lot for $30/day with a shuttle. Being a half mile away from the car, even with a free shuttle, is enough inconvenience that they should consider making that option free or a nominal charge (like $10/day). Ths shuttles ran pretty regularly but I made the walk several times and it was long, especially in the heat, and it felt like was going into a dumpy neighborhood (boarded up buildings and overgrown landscaping). The other area of improvement would be the bathroom door in the hotel room. The bathroom had a barn door on a rolling track which looked unique but was very impractical. It had a tensioner on either side of the track, presumably to prevent slamming but it required a lot of pull force to get the door rolling when it was seated. When the door was “closed” it did not provide sufficient privacy as it hung over the door opening and one could see into the bathroom from either side of the door."
