"Great place"

"We had a very good stay at The Pell. I found the hotel during an Expedia search and was impressed once we arrived. The staff was amazing, in particular the front desk staff and the breakfast server. Our room was clean and well appointed. There is plenty of onsite parking and location was perfect for travel between Bristol and Newport. "

"Across the street from the ocean. I went for the oportunity to relax, be by the ocean, do some walking, visit local seafood restaurants, and enjoy sitting on my balcony and reading (and inside in AC when it was too hot to be outdoors, but i could still look out my window at the ocean.)"

"Staff are very friendly, and the hotel is clean. However, rooms are not ventilated well, so there is some odor. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay. "

"Hotel was in an amazing location, so easily walkable from the ferry and all the main shops/restaurants and bars. They stored our luggage for us until our room was ready (early!) and then when we went to check in our bags had already been brought to our room which was great. We stayed in The Gothic which was a a bit up the street from the main building however I was happier with that because it was definitely more quiet and we were on a ground floor (I'm 6 months pregnant so didn't really want to be walking up and down stairs all day). The only slight negatives was that the ice machine was right outside our room which was loud if people were using it early in the morning, and they do allow non-guests to purchase the beach loungers so there are times when none are available. We loved our stay and would definitely come back! "

"We LOVE the Atlantic Beach Hotel! My family has stayed here many times over the years, and every visit is great. Super convenient location in Middletown - right across the street from Eastons Beach, and close to all the main attractions in Newport, while being far enough away to not feel crowded. Free parking as part of your stay! The Main Building has comfortable, spacious rooms (some with town& water views), a beautiful indoor pool and an awesome outdoor sun deck (perfect for sunsets!). The Suites Building, located right on the other side of the street, has HUGE suites and is a great choice for traveling with larger families or groups. We got married in Newport, and our family all stayed at Atlantic Beach Hotel in the Suites Building - it was perfect! All rooms are very comfortable and up to date, with cozy beds and clean beach vibes. Their restaurant, Tickets, is located right across the street with GREAT food and an outdoor, upstairs deck. One of our favorite hotels to visit when in Newport/Middletown. We will certainly be back!"

"We love this hotel. Across the street from the beach and some restaurants, you can walk to the Cliffwalk and the hot tub on the roof with the fire pit is such a treat. The staff is really friendly. The gym is nice and the breakfast is simple but good. I just wish people would respect the rules and don’t drink/smoke on the roof and the hot tub. The indoor pool and adjacent hot tub are really nice as well. Both buildings are nice!! We will keep coming back! "

"Convince if leaking with a reservation to the beach before check in time. Private beach area. Very close to paddy’s and other great shops."
