"Our stay here was fine for the 2 nights we were there. We did have an issue with food on the first night as we arrived on a Sunday late afternoon and the pub next door was shut . We couldn't arrange anything else in the area as Taxi's were impossible to get hold of. We survived... and the 2nd night we ate at the pub and that was great."

"Last minute night away , lovely welcome from owner showed us where we could park ,how to get to our room and chatted to us for bit,lovely man. Was about 7:30 pm when arrived so we popped are bags in room and then went local town for food , later after back we went to swimming pool for hour was absolutely lovely sooo warm and inviting spent over hour in there had to ourselves ,back in room we got into comfy beds and watched tv before sleeping , In morning got up early went to sweet little diy...

"Room clean and comfy with plenty of space. Be aware the floor in room not level but not a problem for us once we realised. Stairs to room a bit wobbly so you need to take care. Old building but clean. Breakfast was delicious with local butchers sausage and bacon. Parking a bit of a problem so we had to park in public car park for 3 Hours ( Free) until space available. "

"Lovely location. We were given a room in the courtyard, nicely decorated with simple furnishings. Tea,coffee and milk provided but no bottled water, which would usually be expected. The bathroom was adequate but the shower grouting was a bit grim. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, the beer garden was lovely."

"Stayed just the one night and very happy. Clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast in the morning. A little out of the way, so car is a must. We stayed in the Willow room which had a lovely view out onto the garden. Only had minor niggles, bed was a double, not a king which I am used to (but double was in booking info). Doors are creaky and door catch noisy, so a quiet toilet visit in the night is difficult. Would definitely stay again if in the area."
