"We enjoyed our stay at The Craftsman. The amenities were exactly as advertised. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable, fenced yard was perfect for our dog, large dining room table provided plenty of room for a puzzle and we enjoyed the perfect location close to ETSU, Milligan University and any necessary shopping. Thanks for the hospitability!"

"The location of this house is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and getting to it is easy. The covered outdoor lounge area was a nice place to relax and also offered a place to park our motorcycles to keep them out of the weather. There are a few concerns that were listed by another visitor back in February that were not taken care of by the time of our stay. Namely, the master bed needs more supports, there were very few hangers in the closets, the propane tank for the outdoor fire pit was...

"From the sounds of the Watauga river rushing by to the darling baby geese and family we got to watch every day, this hidden gem was everything we hoped it would be and more. The host was very kind and super quick to respond to any questions. Check in and out was a breeze! Everything was so clean and stocked with coffees, creamers, and sweet welcome gifts (loved the energy waters)! We will definitely be making plans to return!"

"Wonderful home, very well stocked and cleaned. Great water, pressure, hot water. The perfect location on the river we had so much fun playing in the river for 2 1/2 days. Close enough to town if you needed anything from the store. We got Walmart Delivery a couple times which was just as quick as when we’re at home In a bigger city. This was truly one of the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We are truly hoping to come back Every year!"

"Large and open house, spotless, plenty of starter supplies. Great Deck with 2 rockers. The beds were comfortable with great linens as advertised. We were there to visit family so did not get to visit sites or fish in the nearby Lake."

"We loved staying in this cabin! The place was immaculate, tastefully decorated and gave us everything we needed for our short stay. Love the central location as it was very close to hiking, biking and driving to Virginia creeper Trail. The owner responds immediately to any questions. We did not have enough coffee when we arrived and he sent the cleaning person that Evening to give us a supply. Enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and watching the sunset over the mountain.
