Barceló Bilbao Nervión

"Location of hotel excellent for visiting Guggenheim, taking a river cruise and local restaurants, especially in the old town. Comfortable room. No special welcome on arrival but reception helpful when approached with a question. Breakfast was OK with reasonable choice although I didn't think much of the coffee. Dinner one evening in the hotel was good although very slow service, taking over an hour for first course to arrive. Our room faced NW, so excellent view of the eclipse. Bar/lounge area nice with reasonable prices for pre-dinner drinks."

"Incredible breakfast, incl. eggs Benedict, avocado toasts, etc., not to mention great coffee. Finally, a user-friendly a/c. Perfect location, practically across the street from Guggenheim Museum."
Hotel New Bilbao Airport

"I read the mixed reviews but my experience was good. I wanted a place very close to the airport. I called for the shuttle and I knew where to wait because they had sent instructions with a photo. Carolina checked me in and was very friendly. She scheduled me for a shuttle the next morning so I could get a city bus at the airport. The room was comfy with good AC. Perfect for my needs."

"On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but I was surpried to be allocated room with a disabled bathroom. The breakfast was adequate but not as good as I remember on previos visits"

"Friendly staff, liked our check in chocolate! Room was lovely and quiet after staying in quite a few noisy rooms on this trip! 20 min walk from the old town and close to public transport. Breakfast was great, lots of healthy options. Would definitely stay again!"
