"This hotel has changed in the past year since we visited the first time. We called ahead and were told we had an accessible room on a high floor close to the elevator, but were met with a denial of room choice when we got there, then an ok room after pushing back - far from what we asked for due to having an elderly family member needing access to the elevator. Terrible experience. We loved it last year. Warm and friendly staff, lovely pool. This stay was horrible, and they charged us for the room total even though we prepaid, then denied it in spite of bank screenshots and email to them from hotels.com, and stated it was a pet fee of $250!!!. We have a registered non-shedding puppy, fully potty trained and never received any complaints from the other hotels we stayed at this trip. They clearly state “your service animal is welcome.” Would NOT recommend this hotel. I have never left a review like this, but had to be sure anyone traveling knows before they decide! Better choices available! Embassy Suites is right down the street. Safe travels!"

"Good location & clean room, when we checked in. Stayed 4 days. The housekeeping came in every day, and only made the bed, and removed used towels. Trash was not removed, & towels were not replaced with fresh ones. Normally, lots of parking, but an event next door made for no available spaces until late in the evening. Due to the housekeeping service, we will not be returning."

""BEDBUGS - DO NOT STAY HERE" I checked in on [DATE] and within hours discovered the room was infested with bedbugs. I have 4 documented photos of live bedbugs and bites. I evacuated immediately. Upon checkout, the hotel refuses to refund my $100 cash deposit because I left the receipt in the infested room during evacuation. They claim they cannot refund without the paper receipt—despite having their own copy on file, my ID, and a hotels.com confirmation. This is a tactic to avoid accountability. The room had a serious pest infestation that posed a health risk. The hotel's response was to withhold my deposit money. Do not book here. File complaints with your state health department."

"I checked in here for 2 nights during the evacuation in garden grove because most hotels in oc were booked or over priced. Upon arrival the place looked worn down and dingy. The room had lots of small roaches. There was no place to hang towels in the bathroom. The toilet seat was missing a screw so the whole thing would move. The refrigerator leaked water. There was graffiti on the wall. The people upstairs made loud noise 24/7. The office could not, or would not move me. Overall if I could give zero stars I would. This place is even way over priced for what it offers.."
