location is very convenience. maybe because the water restriction but the water in the shower is very weak. i was here a few years and it wasn't this bad (the shower)

The property was good but the after hours phone assistance was was extremely poor. It took well over 90 min to get into the room due to lack of communication and swipe cards not being activated. This issue caused us to be late for the appointment that we were required to be at. We had allowed enough time to get to our appoint had we got into our room in a timely fashion.

We stayed in this 2-bedroom apartment for 8 night during the Age National swimming championship. It is very conveniently located for great restaurants and cafes. The tram is right in front of the building so travel between the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre in Southport and Surfers Paradise was very easy. The apartment was clean and the check in was easy. Overall a pleasant stay.

Didn't like the fact property had no wifi.. No movies/streaming options.. location was great.. could've had some in home entertainment options..

Great location - would stay again
We stayed for 7 nights and the location is great - right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Room was a good size for us as a family of 3 including a 2 year old. The only down side for us was the apartment was non-serviced. We knew that going in and were happy not to have any but 7 nights with no spare bin liners, 2 dishwashing powder sachets and 2 dishwashing liquid sachets meant that we had to ration in order to not have to buy any. We would stay there again.

AUD 85 for Extra Cleaning Service!
When we got back from our side, we found that the toilet has spilled water thus it made the floor wet. This happened in the two bathrooms. The dryer didn't work. Its door has been loose and therefore you need to push the door so it would spin. We ended up unable to use it as we expected to. The lamp located on top of the shower bathroom in the main bedroom fell down from the time we check in and they didnt fix it before checkin. At the end of our stay we were not aware that we have to take our garbage out with us. Where should we put the garbage? Take us with our flight? There was no sign of garbage room in the building. Therefore we gathered the garbage in a plastic bag and put it near the exit. We were then contacted and that we had to pay AUSD 85 for an extra cleaning (i.e taking the garbage out of the unit, and wash the dishes we left unwashed). This is crazy, I asked about the number they came up with and they mentioned that they have a contract with the cleaning service company and AUD 70 is the charge for extra cleaning plus AUD 15 for their administration fee (???) Although the area is nice, I would suggest you go to another listing in the building. There were plenty of it. I did the same thing in other unit (i.e gather my rubbish in a plastic bag near the door and unwashed my dishes that we use for simple meal before checking out) and never got contacted for an extra charge for cleaning. Disappointment!

After you reported the issues with the apartment - I can confirm that our handyman attended to this at his earliest convenience, being the next day 06/06/2018. He reported back that all of the maintenance issues were rectified. Furthermore, it clearly states that the apartment is to be left in a neat and tidy condition with all the rubbish removed from the apartment and all dishes washed up and put back where they were found. We do not expect you to clean the apartment, but it is expected for the apartment to be left in a clean and tidy condition. Unfortunately, in this case the apartment was not left in a clean and tidy condition and this is the reason you have been charged an additional cleaning fee.
