Great stay at BreakFree Longbeach. Beautiful location, awesome views from our apartment. Had everything we needed. Manager was really nice and ready to help. Loved the pools too.

The first apartments 2604 was old, outdated and filthy plus a large water leak in the master bedroom with rotted door frames and multiple other issues, got moved to another apartment 1005, marginally better but still lots of issues, will not be recommending to anyone or staying there in the future.

Good location although lots of traffic noise. Apartment was spacious but not maintained well. No air con in bedrooms made it difficult to sleep as it was hot. Couldnt get rid of body odour smell throughout the apartment

Great location short walk to beach, river and shops. Room very spacious and clean, very comfortable. Check in with ease. Although not a fan of combination bath shower could not fault the water pressure, didn’t have to run around to get wet. Parking at property very convenient and secure.

We had the best stay that I can remember! Kevin who runs the place is brilliant and his customer service is second to none! The place is in really nice condition and even in Winter you can get in the pool, or even the warm indoor pool! What's not to like!

Good place to stay. Noise from adjacent construction was nauseating - seriously Tom Tate needs to stop builders from starting work at 6.00am, especially with jack hammers and pile drivers!!!!

Manager Kevin was fantastic.I arrived early.no problem with early check in.He was Available 24/7.Pools indoor & out,Gym,BBQ all great.Ocean views great,some construction going on nearby but not disruptive or too noisy.Northcliffe surf club,Longboards eatery & bar nearby.Easy 5 min stroll on boardwalk to cafes,etc in surfers.Light rail 2 min walk.

The property was perfect for our needs as a famoly of 4. The staff and especially Kevin the manager, were fantastic. The closeness of the beach and the accessibility of the surfclubs suited our water loving family

There was two portable air conditioners. One in the kitchen and one in the main bedroom. They look like main fixtures so it doesn’t look like they are going to fix the Airconditioning anytime soon.

Great views and great location but unfortunately that’s where any positives end. I can’t speak for all rooms but the one I was in was old, dirty and rundown. The lights in the bathroom were faulty and only worked half the time. There were crumbs throughout and all over the balcony, the couches were very dirty and the rug was stained all over. There was a loud vibrating noise in the bedroom from some kind of motor every 30 seconds so quite literally impossible to sleep. There was also no aircon in the main room just the bedroom which made it uncomfortable to sit in. No wifi available either when the website said there was. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend for the price.

The property is not in the condition you see in the photos. Don’t fall for it. The furniture is old and broken. Kitchen cabinet and drawer were super dirty and the price they charge for the poor accommodation is ridiculous!!

Very tired apartment 702 but great location
Unfortunately the bed springs were broken - the bed was obviously very old. I reported it but I’m sure many others would have done before us, with no replacement happening. I slept on the lounge! Air conditioner was very noisy and needs repair - was noisy enough to wake us from deep sleep every hour or so.

Would definitely stay at BreakFree Longbeach again. We received some lovely refreshments in the room on arrival. It was clean and tidy. The view was lovely. It was only a short walk up to the dining and shopping precinct. The reception staff at the property were very helpful.

The unit we stayed in was clean and had all you need for a relaxing break. It is easy walking distance to Cavil Ave, shopping ,restaurants and the beach. Apartment size was great. Cleaning of the room was terrible and there is a really bad smell in the kitchen cupboards which was making the room smell when doors were closed. No A/C in the room and we were only advised when we checked in. No blankets provided and we weren't able to get an extra pillow when we asked (only one each provided on the queen bed). Seemed like a work in progress, painting and new blinds and carpet but not finished. Outdoor pool and spa were awesome. The person on reception was very pleasant and helpful.

The unit was very tired. All the sliding doors leaked wind air, the ducted air-conditioning didnt heat, the only RC air was in the main bedroom and the external motor was also inside with a box made around it so the vibrating and hum was so annoying you couldn't have it on. Blind on the living area windows were all see through so neighbours could look in Very disapointing stay.

Great view but apartment is cheaply furnished and appointed. It is quite run down in parts. Kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated in the last 10 years but the rest looks like it hasn't been touched in a very long time. The carpet in the bedrooms was particularly disgusting.

The apartment is very old and the room is old, not really clean, quite smelly. There is no 24 hours reception and they dont provide any free room cleaning service so you will have to do all the cleaning by yourself. They will charge extra for room amenities (shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper) It also donf have free wifi. The only good thing here is the ocean view.

Amazing view close to the beach
Lovely spacious unit with amazing views. Excellent facilities beautiful pool and close walking distance toy the beach. We had a wonderful time with only a few complaints.... furniture is very tired and the couch was super low an difficult to get out of and not enough seating for six people which needs replacing. Kitchen needed to be stocked with everyday things like chopping boards and paring knives, as well as champagne and cocktail glasses. The blinds fell down when we tried to close them so they also need replacing. Sheets were rough and pilled and there was no doona on the beds only blankets which needs to be improved. Overall it was a nice place to stay that is convenient to everything you need, it doesn’t have the luxury of some other hotels but it is roomy and comfortable for a family. It was for my 4th birthday so a little bottle of wine or something special would have been really lovely. Hopefully next time we stay there they have updated a few things to make our nice stay even better.
