Good option in Stepps

The staff are friendly and the food is good, especially the huge breakfast. Nice little bar area too with a beer garden. The 'executive' rooms definitely need a refrigerator and perhaps an iron and ironing board but they are comfortable.

Hotel was pretty clean and good but the resturant service was slow on one occasion. (they comp'd me a drink for slow service) Not much to do locally in Stepps but the hotel is clean and comfortable.

It was beautiful. The staff was fantastic, so friendly, so warm and welcoming and GENUINE. I have truly never been happier with a hotel and their staff in all my travels. Definitely recommend!!

The evening f on the evening we were there was very poor. The chef had no idea how to cook vegetables - we have NEVER been served such badly cooked vegetables. My husband's broccoli was completely tough and inedible, and mine was almost as bad. My husband returned it via the waiter to the chef/cook, but the response was only that "yes it was hard. Would we like more vegetables?" No apology whatsoever! - from the waiter or ( worse!) from the chef/cook. In addition, our starter of spring rolls was very seriously overcooked/over-fried, the 'pastry' being very hard and slightly scorched.

Ask for a modernised room.

Booked an Executive room and was shown to a dark and musty room looking out over the back of the property. There were red stains on the net curtains that looked like blood. I went back to reception and they moved me to another Executive room which had been modernised. It was much better. I don't know why they had not allocated that room in the first place as it was free that night.

Hotel stay

Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately this hotel has very thin walls and very squeaky floorboards. Ear plugs are required to sleep. You could hear everything in the adjacent rooms. Food was way overpriced for what you got. Ended up driving out on my final night. Had a mixed grill with no egg !!
